Istanbul Desktop Recording
About
Istanbul is a desktop session recorder for the Free Desktop. It records your session into an Ogg Theora video file. It works on GNOME, KDE and XFCE and others.
Why the name Istanbul ?
The author named it Istanbul as a tribute to Liverpool's 5th European Cup triumph on may 25th 2005.

To run Istanbul :
Applications ---> Sound and Video ---> Istanbul Desktop Session Recorder
You'll see a red button on right top panel, it means istanbul is running.
When you are ready to start recording the desktop, click the red button. During the recording the red button will change into white square button. To stop recording click white square button and popup save screencast menu will shown.
To play it we can use Movie Player, Gxine or VLC Media Player.
