Questioning Allah decisions in this life
Question:
Muslims are meant to believe that god is just, that he is fair but why does Allah kill some people when they are just a child/baby, they die without any sin. or why does he make some people insane and they too are not accountable for anything all of these people die without any sin, but others have to believe in Allah, pray, fast and do other things just so they can enter heaven. Why does Allah do this? If Allah killed me when I was a baby or if he made me insane then I too would my sin be forgiven like them, why does he help these people in this way? How is this fair?

Facing the bankruptcy problem due to the financial crisis
Question:
Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum.
Due to the financial crisis in the US, my company lost a lot of business and I cannot pay back the creditors because I am owed a huge sum of money. In addition, I believe this is the fault of the financial crisis, not me. What is the solution? Should I declare bankruptcy? And, what does declaring bankruptcy mean? What about the creditors’ debts?
JazakumAllahu Khayran.

House hold problems: Should I (wife) keep patient (sabr) or divorce?
Question:
Salaams, May Allah reward you for all your hard work.
I have been married for nearly 6 years and have a daughter who is nearly 3 years Alhumdulliah. My husband is very heavily dependant on class A drugs and also sells it most of the time. We do not get on at all and we can go on not talking to each other for weeks. In a month we probably have about 2 good days and that’s it. From the second day of our marriage I regretted getting married to him, it was a love marriage, (no love left now, more like it's become hate). I’m sure he wants to get off the drugs and every few months he tries by himself and I have to constantly put up with his mood, withdrawal symptoms etc. I have tried to help him but he doesn’t want to see the doctor, thinks he can do it by himself, but of course he can’t.

Marrying cousins, is it allowed in Islam?
Question:
Does Islam permit marriages with ones paternal or maternal uncle/aunt's children? If yes - then under what circumstances?
Please shed some light on this issue as I find it confusing to believe, especially when it is scientifically proven that marrying your cousins is not a healthy practice.
Your advice would be duly appreciated.
Thank you

Woman changes her father's surname to her husband's surname
Question:
Assallamu-alaikum. I got married in 1989, and it was the norm then that when a woman gets married she changes her father's name to her husband's name, the implication of that was not known to us. But when I grew up I read one hadith of the Prophet (SAW) that he was commanded by Allah (SWA) to make Zaid (his adopted son) to revert to his father's name. I made a lot more consultations that proved that a woman should maintain her surname even after marriage.
