Is it halal to sell gold online ?
Question:
As-Salamu `alaykum! I would like to ask you about a network marketing whereby a new company sells gold through the internet and the person who buys from them can get involved in the business as an agent for the company (to become an agent you have to buy a gold coin) and after becoming agent, for each sale you make, you receive 40 US dollars as commission, either the sale is conducted directly or indirectly.

Delaying the Isha prayer until midnight
Question:
Assalamu alaikum,
Is it true that it is preferred ( mustahab) to delay the Isha prayer until midnight and that the prophet (pbuh ) would do so sometimes ?If this is so, then what are the conditions that make it permissible to do so, so that it wouldn’t be considered an act laziness or procrastination on my part?
Thank you

False copies of the Qur'an, doesn't this contradict the idea of the Qur'an being preserved by Allah until the last day?
Question:
We know that Allah has promised to preserve the Qur’an, unlike the Gospel, Torah, etc., and it has been preserved until this day in its entirety. The problem is that I am hearing there are false copies of the Koran being made and spread, I think, in Iraq and that the Islamic curriculum is being distorted. If this IS true, doesn't this contradict the idea of the Koran being preserved by Allah until the last day. What are we to do?

Showing respect when someone is reading the Qur'an
Question:
As-Salamu `Alaykum. My parents have always told me that when someone is reading the Qur'an every one has to be on the same level. For example, if I am reading the Qur'an and I am sitting on the bed, but my sister is sitting on the floor, that is wrong. Either she has to come up to the bed, or I have to sit on the floor, but we both have to be sitting on the same level. Why is that?
Also take the next scenario: My brother is sitting in the next room and he is reading the Qur'an on the floor, but I am sitting on the bed, does the same rule apply, even though we are in separate rooms? Why or why not?

Is a Brother/Sister in-Law a Mahram?
Question:
Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. I am married and I am confused about something. Is the husband of my wife's sister a mahram (husband or close male relative forbidden in marriage) to my wife or a non-mahram? Can my wife talk to him alone in seclusion or must she cover her `awrah (parts of the body that must be covered) in front of him?
Jazakum Allahu Khayran.
