Could you please clarify how does Islam care about youth? Pls. give an example from the Prophet’s life. In other words, how did Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) care about youth?

Question:

What is the importance to get our bodies ready for Ramadan?

Answer:

For most people, Ramadan means that your way of eating, sleeping and living will change dramatically.

Now we are just a couple days before Sha`ban. Month of Sha'ban is the last chance before the blessed month of Ramadan. Sha`ban is a significant month in the sense that it paves the way for Ramadan. Wise people work hard on various acts of worship in Sha`ban so that they will get ready for the coming guest, Ramadan.

Sha`ban is our gateway to Ramadan and we must preparing our self in Sha'ban to welcome Ramadan.

Question:

My husband wants to send 20 thousand dollars to his father to finish building a house that will never be legally ours, but his uncles, and only through word is it ours. I have objected to this, and my husband has advised me that in Islam whatever his father requests of him, he must obey. This is unfair; as it rips away our hard earning money from our children's future, for something we will never legally own. Please advise, in Islam can his father make such requests from his son?

Can black magic prevent someone from getting married?
I’ve always thought the answer was no because alhamdulilah, I'm religious; I pray, read Qur'an, and make dua'a and didn’t think that it can affect me.

But everyone tells me that it has to be the reason that I'm not married because Allah has blessed me with beauty, intelligence, education, great personality, and a great reputation masha'Allah. However I'm 32 years old and still not married.

Question:

Salaam. I like this man but my parents won't consent because of status issues. I do not want to hurt them but I also cannot hurt the man I like for almost 2 yrs.

In Islam, we should not hurt or disappoint our parents. I am trying to convince them but what if they do not agree? I do not want to go against them but I know the man I like is a good man and is also Muslim. Please advice thanks.

Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum.

I am a Muslim youth and I proposed marriage to many women. Every time I propose to a woman, I find her wali (guardian) asks for a lot of money as her mahr (dowry) as well as asking me about my income and whether I have a flat and other things that I am unable to provide before marriage. I have a sufficient salary al-hamdu lillah but they ask for a lot of money. Is it correct to ask for a large amount of money as mahr and how can I deal with this situation?
