Verse
123 كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ الْمُرْسَلِينَ (The tribe of) Aad denied the messengers (of Allah),
122 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful.
121 إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers.
120 ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبَاقِينَ Then afterward We drowned the others.
119 فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship.
118 فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحاً وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِي مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me.
117 قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي كَذَّبُونِ He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me.
116 قَالُوا لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَا نُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُومِينَ They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death).
115 إِنْ أَنَا إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ I am only a plain warner.
114 وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ And I am not (here) to repulse believers.
113 إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَى رَبِّي لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew;
112 قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِي بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)?
111 قَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْأَرْذَلُونَ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee?

Quran 9:25

25

لَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّهُ فِي مَوَاطِنَ كَثِيرَةٍ وَيَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ إِذْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ كَثْرَتُكُمْ فَلَمْ تُغْنِ عَنكُمْ شَيْئاً وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْتُم مُّدْبِرِينَ

Allah hath given you victory on many fields and on the day of Huneyn, when ye exulted in your multitude but it availed you naught, and the earth, vast as it is, was straitened for you; then ye turned back in flight;
