104 وَنَادَيْنَاهُ أَنْ يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ We called unto him: O Abraham:
103 فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُ لِلْجَبِينِ Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face,
102 فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ السَّعْيَ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنِّي أَرَى فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أَذْبَحُكَ فَانظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَى قَالَ يَا أَبَتِ افْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِي إِن شَاء اللَّهُ مِنَ الصَّابِرِينَ And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast.
101 فَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِغُلَامٍ حَلِيمٍ So We gave him tidings of a gentle son.
100 رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous.
99 وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَى رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me
98 فَأَرَادُوا بِهِ كَيْداً فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ الْأَسْفَلِينَ And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost.
97 قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَهُ بُنْيَاناً فَأَلْقُوهُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red hot fire.
96 وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ When Allah hath created you and what ye make?
95 قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve
94 فَأَقْبَلُوا إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ And (his people) came toward him, hastening.
93 فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْباً بِالْيَمِينِ Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand.
92 مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ What aileth you that ye speak not?
