18 وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَى And hoarded (wealth) and withheld it.
17 تَدْعُو مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّى It calleth him who turned and fled (from truth),
16 نَزَّاعَةً لِّلشَّوَى Eager to roast;
15 كَلَّا إِنَّهَا لَظَى But nay! for lo! it is the fire of hell
14 وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعاً ثُمَّ يُنجِيهِ And all that are in the earth, if then it might deliver him.
13 وَفَصِيلَتِهِ الَّتِي تُؤْويهِ And his kin that harbored him
12 وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيهِ And his spouse and his brother
11 يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِي مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ Though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children
10 وَلَا يَسْأَلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيماً And no familiar friend will ask a question of his friend
9 وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ And the hills become as flakes of wool,
8 يَوْمَ تَكُونُ السَّمَاء كَالْمُهْلِ The day when the sky will become as molten copper,
7 وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيباً While We behold it nigh:
6 إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيداً Lo! they behold it afar off

Quran 28:9

9

وَقَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍ لِّي وَلَكَ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَى أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَداً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

And the wife of Pharaoh said: (He will be) a consolation for me and for thee. Kill him not. Peradventure he may be of use to us, or we may choose him for a son. And they perceived not.
