Verse
18 عَيْناً فِيهَا تُسَمَّى سَلْسَبِيلاً The water of a spring therein, named Salsabil.
17 وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْساً كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلاً There are they watered with a cup whereof the mixture is of Zanjabil,
16 قَوَارِيرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيراً (Bright as) glass but (made) of silver, which they (themselves) have measured to the measure (of their deeds).
15 وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِآنِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا Goblets of silver are brought round for them, and beakers (as) of glass
14 وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَالُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلاً The shade thereof is close upon them and the clustered fruits thereof bow down.
13 مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْساً وَلَا زَمْهَرِيراً Reclining therein upon couches, they will find there neither (heat of) a sun nor bitter cold.
12 وَجَزَاهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَرِيراً And hath awarded them for all that they endured, a Garden and silk attire;
11 فَوَقَاهُمُ اللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّاهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُوراً Therefor Allah hath warded from them the evil of that day, and hath made them find brightness and joy;
10 إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْماً عَبُوساً قَمْطَرِيراً Lo! we fear from our Lord a day of frowning and of fate.
9 إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاء وَلَا شُكُوراً (Saying): We feed you, for the sake of Allah only. We wish for no reward nor thanks from you;
8 وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ مِسْكِيناً وَيَتِيماً وَأَسِيراً And feed with food the needy wretch, the orphan and the prisoner, for love of Him,
7 يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْماً كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيراً Because they perform the vow and fear a day whereof the evil is wide spreading,
6 عَيْناً يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيراً A spring wherefrom the slaves of Allah drink, making it gush forth abundantly,
